THE HIGHEST QUALITY MEMORIES WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK.

Did you know New York is the most expensive city in the United States to get married? I understand how pricy weddings can be, which is why I strive to keep costs as low as possible for my clients. After getting some details about your day, I’m always happy to give my honest input for what package would work best and steering them away from unnecessary costs. Most couples will spend between $4,000 and $6,000, with engagement sessions running $700. Pricing is dependent on location, day, and details- so let’s get the ball rolling!

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED.

How would you describe your photography style?

My photos are often described as authentic, energetic, and full of color. I always prioritize candid moments over static poses. Uncomfortable in front of the camera? No worries! I’m here to make you feel at ease on your special day. Every wedding is their own unique love story- which is why I treat every wedding I shoot with the utmost care and passion. I respect how much time and money is spent, and your final gallery should respect that amount of love!

How many images will we receive? What is your turnaround time?

For weddings with full eight hours of coverage, I deliver on average around 1,200 images. I don’t believe in clients having to pick and choose between their favorites on their special day. I take pride in my quick turnaround time- averaging less than 4 weeks for the full gallery to be delivered, with plenty of previews sent before that (often times a few within 24 hours of the wedding day!). All images are delivered via a beautiful online gallery. This gallery will be up forever so you can download + share your favorites any time, whether you’re viewing from mobile or desktop.

Where can I see some reviews?

I’m so glad you asked! over 100 5-star review from the perspectives of brides, grooms, fellow vendors, parents, and wedding party can be viewed here.

Do you have insurance?

Absolutely! I’m happy to provide a certificate of insurance to your vendor’s coordinator upon request.

Can we see some full galleries?

Yes! Highlights are one thing, but I’d love to show you what a Scratch Studios wedding looks like from start to finish. Reach out to me and let me know some details about your special day, and I’ll hand pick some galleries that give off a similar vibe.

Why should we hire you?

Your wedding photographer is the one vendor that you spend the entire day with. I take pride in going above and beyond for my clients, checking in with everyone involved to make sure everything runs smoothly. If something changes last minute (and this does happen quite frequently!), look to me to adapt to the adjustments and fix things behind the scenes- all without missing the shot. This is YOUR wedding day- I want you to enjoy it the best you can and leave the rest to me.

Can you help us with timeline and planning questions?

Of course! I’ve shot over 100 weddings. Trust me when I say I’ve seen what works- and what doesn’t work. I’m happy to give my honest input to make sure we have the best timeline possible.

Our wedding is nontraditional. Is that okay?

Without a doubt. Love is love, no matter how you decide it’s important to you. I take it as the highest honor that you would want me there to document it. scratch studios is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment and service for all clients and individuals, regardless of sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, age, race, color, religion, ethnicity, disability, or military status.

I geek out over tech specs! What gear do you bring and what EDITING SOFTWARE DO YOU USE?

Nerds unite! I’ve been shooting canon for over ten years and am well versed in their gear. I primarily shoot on a Canon R5, with a Mark IV as a backup. My lenses include a 28-70mm 2.0 (nicknamed the wedding lens for it’s versatility), 75-200mm 2.8 (zoom lens for the ceremony), 85mm 1.2 (perfect for those beauty shots of the couple), and a 100mm 2.8 macro (to show off every detail in the rings and all of those gorgeous details you’ve hand selected). I also bring with me a speedlite 600ex II (external flash) to get those dynamic reception shots without lighting up the entire room and dulling down the party. I edit primarily in adobe lightroom, with extra love and care in adobe photoshop if the image calls for it.
